I put this reflectively toned piece together both during & after a night away, immersed in nature.
This particular place had a profound sense of tranquil energy & was extremely spiritually rewarding.
With this I have tried to capture & describe the experience I had there, & the effect it had on me.

I spent the entire night swimming in the tonic of creativity
While she spent it pondering the essence of tranquility.
Textured & tonal rain unfurled gently from the dark sky,
While time ticked silently, idle & restlessly ever refusing to leave my side…

It gave me pause & provided a beautiful cloak.
Soaked was the atmosphere by energy old, inspiring, yet all the while remaining remote.

An old observer attempted to capture the frequency we rode.
The precise command of energy this place had made me unsure about heading home.
Finally a sledge hammer sleep compressed down hard.
Only to spring me back into consciousness, as I unfurled into the day I got the sense we would continue to be anything but monotonous…

It gave me pause & provided a beautiful cloak.
